A significant step towards tough criminal sentences for 'boy racers' and other dangerous/lethal drivers has been made after campaigning led by British Cycling and Cycling Weekly.

Grass Track League 2013 Finale

Sunday afternoon and the sun came out over Hackney Downs to shine on the final of 2013's Grass Track League. Numbers were down on previous seasons but the racing made up for it and the riders made off with the cakes.

Following a flying lap time trial the riders followed a program of Scratch, points, devil and devil in their age groups. The day finished with an all in two team italian style pursuit. The racing was most hotly contested in the under 12s with a spread of results.
Following the presentation of medals and prizes Karen brought out a big spread of food as we celebrated the results and Prosper's big birthday - we'll have to make sure the grass track finishes on his birthday again next time... Thanks for everyone's help and Andy B for the photos.
