Cycling Club hackney Grass Track League 2013 - Event 1

PROGAMME OF EVENTS

Sign On starts 12pm – no sign on after 2pm - Racing Starts 12.30pm

TIME TRIAL  -  All ages to complete a single lap timed individually – standing start.

SCRATCH RACE – Mass start race for each age category.

Under 8s – 3 laps

Under 12s - Under 10s – 1 lap controlled plus three laps

Under 16 – Under 14s – 1 controlled lap plus four laps

Over 16 – 1 controlled lap plus three laps

POINTS RACE – Mass start race for each age category – points awarded on laps when whistle blows – races are controlled which means riders must come back together in bunch after each sprint.

Under 8s – 4 laps sprints on laps 2, 3 and 4.

Under 12s - Under 10s – 6 laps - sprints on laps 2, 4 and 6.

Under 16 – Under 14s –  8 laps - sprints on laps 2, 4, 6 and 8.

Over 16 – 6 laps  - sprints on laps 2, 4 and 6.

DEVIL – mass start elimination race – last over finish line each lap eliminated from race and must pull over into middle when safe to do so.

Under 8s – lap numbers dependent on number of riders

ITALIAN PURSUIT– all riders across categories split into teams – youngest riders go first and pull off after a lap, continue until last rider – timed if more than two teams.

Rules – helmets compulsory,no undertaking, no deliberate blocking, hold racing line, judges decisions are final.
