CCH's club run to Cold Christmas 2018!

Earlier today CC Hackney regular club rider Isobel Siddons organised and led a seasonal adult club run extra to Cold Christmas East Hertfordshire. According to whatsapp reports this social ride was an enjoyable & fun time. For those who were unable to attend let's hope that it becomes another CCH annual tradition and make it next time - good going and roll on 2019 - happy new year!

   

Young Hasbi gets younger Omar on the way with his first bike - seasons greetings!

Two of Hackney boys have been brought together by CC Hackney & Interlinkx CiC. They are from two housing estates (E5 & E9) and don't know each other yet but are connected by being club members and cycle enthusiasts. Eleven year old Hasbi pictured below is a regular attendee at Fawcett Estate's bike maintenance club. He volunteered his session time to renovate an old discarded bike to donate to Kingsmead Estate's eight year old Omar, of Concorde Bike Club. This is Omar's first ride, he is most happy with it and wants to send Hasbi his thanks and very best wishes.

Xmas Part time

- The CCH youth xmas party was held at Elsdale last saturday after training with around 50 riders family and friends coming along to sample the food on offer, make smoothies on bike , spin some xmas sounds and race on the rollers. The refurbished heating at Elsdale Community Hall kept the chill away  with everyone starting the xmas party season off in fine style.

CC Hackney win club of the year at youth sports awards!

CC Hackney have won the coveted club of the year award at this evening at the Hackney Youth Sports Awards, held at Hackney's Town Hall.
