The 14th CCH annual Ronde Chelmsford 2021

The 14th CCH annual Ronde Chelmsford 2021 (Meet 8am Sunday 2nd May depart 8.30) The CCH Ronde C is an open social ride for experienced cyclists. The distance is about 90miles/150km - please feel welcome to join us, riding for our outreach community projects, diversity and cycle sport for all. Voluntary donations to be accepted on the day via card reader.  A page at cycling club Hackney.co.uk with more information, including a shorter route option is to be posted soon.

Tao action on diversity, prejudice and racism in cycle sport

Cycling leader Tao Geoghegan Hart has announced his intentions regarding the diversity problem in cycle sport. This is by doing his bit to help the wider move towards a better represented and fully inclusive cycle sport field - grass roots to elite. Let's see how this aspect progresses in the years to come.

Orient Way Footbridge Campaign

A descent foot, pram, wheelchair and cycle bridge to better link Hackney to Waltham Forest over Orient Way is long overdue. As a ride leader of youth cycling groups I can testify that this bridge is difficult to use and a challenge especially for our youngest riders. It's about time a proper crossing fit for purpose is built.
